At Lost Timber, we are passionate about building relationships and helping campers grow in their faith. We are much more than just a safe and affordable place to have fun with friends. We are committed to building relationships with our campers so we can share with them the love of Christ and, more importantly, SHOW them the love of Christ. Whether at the beach, on the ball field, or in the chapel, campers are encouraged, cared for, and loved by our dedicated staff. We hope that our love and excitement for Jesus rubs off on everyone who visits us at Lost Timber. Of course we have a lot of fun and create some unforgettable memories at camp but it's our commitment to building relationships and discipling campers that keep them coming back.
Lost Timber Bible Camp started in 1973, is part of the non-profit corporation Chanarambie Christian Camps. As a non-denominational ministry we welcome campers from all religious backgrounds. Our summer camps are at the heart of our existence offering fun-filled faith adventures for young people 9 - 19 years of age.
Most importantly, Lost Timber is a God-centered camp. Sharing God's love is our focus, our purpose and our entire reason for being here. Our primary way of sharing the love of God is through relationships. The chapel speakers are powerful, but it's the solid friendships built at camp that allow people to open up and hear God speaking to them. It's these relationships that campers remember most about their Lost Timber experience.
Theme Verse
"To know the love of Christ"
"[14] When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, [15] the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. [16] I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. [17] And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. [18] And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. [19] May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
[20] Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. [21] May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen."
Ephesians 3:14-21
