Not only is Lost Timber one of the most affordable summer camps around, it’s also one of the most fun and Gospel-focused. Our heartbeat is to help campers have fun, build friendships, and grow in their faith during their time at camp.
Lost Timber is a non-denominational, Christian camp that was founded in 1973. We are located along the Buffalo Ridge in Southwest Minnesota amongst 175 acres of densely wooded hills. Camp’s beautiful and peaceful setting gives campers a chance to get away from their daily routine and connect with God, maybe for the first time.
Our goal is to teach campers the Gospel of Christ and His saving grace while bringing them into an environment where they can “Experience the love of Christ” (Eph. 3:19) and develop friendships with other campers. Lost Timber provides campers a place where they are genuinely loved and discipled in their faith. We believe in teaching and living out God’s love, whether it’s singing together in chapel, sharing stories with each other during a meal, or scoring a goal on the soccer field.
