Lost Timber Bible Camp is now accepting registrations for our summer camp program.
Throughout history God has appointed His people to tactical missions, whether it was Abraham, Moses, the Hebrew spies, Rahab, Queen Esther, Daniel, the Apostle Paul or Timothy. Jesus took on the “ultimate assignment” when He stepped into our place at the cross. Only His own personal involvement—His willing sacrifice—was enough to pay the price for our sin.
It’s time to accept the specialized mission of telling others about the Good News of Jesus. Special Agent training personnel will utilize the most prominently recognized worldwide supplemental training resource, the Bible.
Only extensive training provided at our Lost Timber specialized camp facilities can provide the skills and knowledge needed to perform the duties of Special Agent.
Are YOU ready?
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Lost Timber is a place where having fun is mandatory, but it’s more than just campfires, awesome food and crazy games like “capture the flag.” It is designed to be a place where campers could come, get away from their normal routine, and experience the love of Christ. Helping campers know the Lord and expanding His eternal kingdom was and still is our main objective. Many children, from across the region, from different backgrounds have come to Lost Timber hungry, and gone home with a new or renewed relationship with our Creator.
“I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13 (NLT)
Addressing the Needs of Growth
Last year we began to brainstorm ideas to create more space in our dining hall. Camper numbers have been increasing over the last several years and we have been met with challenges to comfortably seat our campers and staff. With a little creativity, we have managed to squeeze 85+ campers and staff in a space that normally seats just 60 people. Our initial solution has been to expand the current dining hall. An expansion could comfortably seat 100+ people, increase kitchen space, centralize food refrigeration/storage, as well as address the need for expanded sleeping space, a new roof, new decks and windows. The estimated cost for the expansion and upgrades, based on architectural drawings and materials lists is $150,000.
Measure Twice, Cut Once
Throughout the summer and fall the board of directors has also discussed building a completely new dining hall just off the soccer field, and limit the present dining hall upgrades to new windows, decks and roof. This approach would be significantly higher cost ($500K +) but would be built on a new foundation with fewer “unknowns”. It is our desire to do what is best for the camp and to seek the Lord as we decide on which approach to take. We are excited to see how the Lord will lead us in our planning and construction.
We ask you to pray for what our course should be concerning the dining hall project. Would you also prayerfully consider how the Lord may use the gifts he has given you to support Lost Timber, particularly in the effort to see this future building need happen? Your contributions, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.
